Another late instafriday…

Well… that week just happened. Not really any blogs this week- sorry. A vague post about craziness and a possible move and that’s all you got. And now instafriday on Sunday night.

.

My life is a little nuts right now. We are moving in 9 days. More details to come.

.

In the mean time, I do still want to link up with Jeannett & share snippets of my past week, even if I’m two days late :)

.

I have to start with this one. There are no words:

Baby buns.

.

Hudson loves bath time, especially now that he has mastered the art of splashing and soaking the entire bathroom with his big brother.

.

My sweet niece, Taylor, is home from college in New York. We took a trip up to Orange County to hang out with her at Taco Tuesday. I love my fam!

.

While I was at my parent’s house, I found this gem:

Every page was filled out by my elementary school aged self. Secret codes to figure out Uncle Jesse’s favorite song? Check. Trivia about hair colors and holidays? Done. I loved me some full house.

.

By the way- where did I find this treasure? Buried deep in the depths of my parents entertainment center. For some reason, I decided to go through and organize their hundreds of VHS tapes (!!) after Hudson pulled a bunch out. Definitely found some other great finds (Can’t Hardly Wait & Hope Floats on VHS anyone?).

.

We had the treat of showing Disneyland to our dear friends who were there for their first visit. It was SO fun!

Of all places in the park I could have taken a picture, I chose in front of a bush? Definitely not my best planning…

.

Wednesday night, I got to lead worship with my husband & our band at a Campus Crusade weekly meeting at our alma mater, UCLA. I hadn’t been back on the campus much since we graduated 6 years ago, so I was really soaking it in. It is such a gorgeous campus.

So many great memories.

It was so sweet to see old college friends and to see the current generation of students and worship God together with them. Once again, I am definitely starting to feel older. Such a special night for me though. My husband and I were on the worship team for crusade while we were students & that is actually where he proposed!

.

No trip to UCLA is complete without a stop at Diddy Reese. Best ice cream sandwiches ever. I go for the oatmeal raisin cookies with mint chocolate chip ice cream. Sounds a bit strange, but it is so delish.

Back in my day, they were $1. Even. No additional tax. It was the best thing ever to just be able to hand over a dollar bill. They are now $1.75. Lame.

.

Pretty paper that I love so much. Can’t wait to get crafting with it.

.

Speaking of crafting… I am working like a madwoman to get all of my orders out before the move. Sales have been up lately, which is awesome, but I am definitely feeling the time crunch to finish up before moving next week.

.

I made these two custom burlap banners this week and, though they took longer than expected, I loved how they turned out. 10 seconds after taking these photos, Isaiah (who is 4 1/2), decided to grab his scissors and cut the ribbon on one of the banners. I freaked out. I did not have enough of the ribbon to re-do it. Had to go in the mail that day. Lesson learned- don’t work around 4 year old who like to sneak some cutting.

.

Yesterday, some friends and I made 100′s of terrariums and herbs in paper-wrapped tin cans for a church event. They turned out even better than I had expected. So easy & so fun!

.

life rearranged

.

Happy Memorial Day everyone!
