InstaFriday!

Every week, I share my instagram photos for the week (instagram name is courttoney) and link up with Jeannett at LifeRearranged. It’s been a really fun way for me to chronicle each week and look back at the little (& big) moments our family has shared.

.

This past week has been a bit overwhelming, but great- settling into our new home while trying to squeeze in as much summer fun as we can before school starts in 2 weeks.

.

After getting all of our boxes in the house, the first thing Isaiah did was hug his box of trains and make a track in his new room. Of course.

.

We love our new neighborhood! It is so cute & great for the boys:

.

We can walk to the farmer’s market on Saturdays,

.

to the train park to ride the trains,

.

and to Isaiah’s super cute elementary school (ah! Did I just type that? I really have a kid about to start elementary school!?!):

.

We’ve also found that we are minutes from another great park, the library, frozen yogurt (very important!) and the pool where Isaiah takes swim lessons. So great!

.

Hudson’s lips are the cutest when he says “choo-choo” :)

.
Sunflowers to brighten up my completely un-decorated house while we unpack:
.
Growing up, my mom would have a big jar of change that she saved up every year. Each summer, we would help her count and roll the change and then we would use it go to the fair. It was one of my favorite summer traditions. She now takes all of the grandkids every summer- I love continuing these memories! We went on wednesday and the boys had so much fun with their cousins.
.
.
Isaiah rode rides, we ate some tasty food & ice cream, looked at exhibits and they boys got to pretend they were farmers (such a cute exhibit!):
.
Hudson giving Auntie Shannie some kisses during the pig races:
.
Continuing our week of family traditions, yesterday, Daveed’s mom and grandma took Isaiah back to school shopping. Daveed’s grandma did this ever year with him, so they are so excited to continue the tradition. I am so thankful that my boys have two grandmas and a great grandma that love them so much!
.
Aside from Isaiah trying to swipe a lego clock from Nordstrom, it was a really fun mall trip. (that’s a whole other story!)
.
He was so stinkin funny while trying on clothes at GAP. Way more into than I thought he would be- totally modeling for us and striking poses.
.
I am trying my hardest to soak up these last days of summer before we head into our first year of school every day. The weather is apparently trying to do the same… it’s over 100 right now!
.
Have a lovely, heat-filled summer weekend!

Would that frozen yogurt place happen to be In The Mix?! That place is delicious! If the boys ever need a fro yo date with their favorite babysitter, I’m in ;)

Hi! Stopping by from Insta-Friday. That is such a great (or cute) looking school, man I wish we had schools that looked like that around here, instead so many of them were built in the late 70′s. Great pictures. Karen.
