InstaFriday

It’s funny how the number of instagram pictures I take in a week usually correlates to how crazy/exciting or mellow my weeks was. This week- it was a more mellow week (which was needed!)- only 7 pictures :)

Linking up with Jeannett over at Life Rearranged for InstaFriday!

I’ve been decorating our house little by little, as our budget and my time allows and I finally have the boys bathroom pretty much finished. I’m in love with this print I bought from etsy seller dazeychic:

We went up to my parents church in Orange County because David’s kids worship band, The El Ninos, were playing a concert at their fall festival. Before the band got up to play, they brought up 4 kids to do a “kids say the darndest things” type of thing. Isaiah and his friend Ethan were two of them. I immediately got nervous- who knows what 5 year old are going to say in front of a group! And I was right being nervous. After answering a few questions nicely, he was asked, “what is your least favorite thing to eat?”. To which he replied, “poop”. Yep. Proud parent moment right there.

.

The other answer that really made me laugh was in response to the question, “what does your mommy do while you are at school?”. He said, “goes to target”. Ha!

.

When asked, “how did your mommy & daddy meet?”, he said, “working together as a team” :)

It was crazy hot here in Southern CA this past week- like 90-100 degrees. Not fall. I decided to make it feel like fall inside of our house.

Can you guess where this customer is getting married?

Too bad I can’t hand deliver the banner…

Hudson’s favorite part of the day is when we pick Isaiah up from school. He runs to the door and squeals loudly when the teacher opens it to send out the students. As soon as he sees Isaiah, he shouts out his name (“yiah”) and runs over to him with a big smile on his face. It is the sweetest! One day this week, Isaiah’s teacher didn’t see him standing there, and we he squealed she totally jumped. It was pretty funny :)

They are such buds. I love seeing how much they love each other- warms this mamas heart.

Today, fall has finally arrived. 70 degrees, partly cloudy skies and a breeze. So I am typing this from our backyard, soaking it in before the next heatwave arrives.

.

Happy Friday!
